Spoon-billed Sandpiper Research, Korea

As part of ongoing research for Birds Korea on the Critically Endangered Spoon-billed Sandpiper, six individuals (four post-breeding adults, one adult in non-breeding plumage, and one juvenile) were found during a two week survey (Aug 14-26) on Yubu Island, Geum Estuary. Although data are still being processed, below are some digiscoped video clips of a few of these August Spoonies:
