Bird News from Robin Newlin
A morning trip to Incheon’s Gyeyang Mountain: cold (frozen puddles) and scattered clouds with only slight warming as the day progressed. Highlights were a Naumann’s Thrush (first of the season for me), a single Rustic and several Yellow-throated Buntings; a heard but not seen group of Azure-winged Magpies, a heard and then seen Bull-headed Shrike, a small flock of Grey-capped Greenfinches, a Daurian Redstart, a single pair of Far Eastern Buzzards; and, occasionally calling and persistently shy, at least 6 Siberian Accentors.
