Shorebirds and ducks in Songdo and Namdong Reservoir, April 11, 2020

Birds news from Dr. Bernhard Seliger (Hanns Seidel Foundation, Birds Korea lifetime members)

Not much change from last week, but this time I had the chance to see roosting birds at high tide at a very close range. Also, on Namdong reservoir, besides the Blackfaced Spoonbills, which still seem all to concentrate on only one of the two breeding islands, a pleasant surprise of at least 50 Ruddy Shelducks. And, in two places, at the North and East side of the reservoir, convenient new lookouts have been built for birdwatching.
