A morning walk around Paldang Daegyo (starting a kilometer or so upstream and walking downstream) brought good views of more than 150 Whooper Swans, several Scaly-sided Mergansers and a single Stellar’s Sea Eagle earlier reported this month by Nial Moores, sitting in mid of a flock of 40 swans. Also, there was an assortment of Coots, Mallards, Goldeneyes, Little Grebes, a Great Crested Grebe, Common Mergansers, Tufted Ducks, Common gulls, a Kestrel, a Bullheaded shrike, Oriental Turtledoves, Grey-capped Greenfinches, two Dusky thrushes, Vinous-throated Parrotbills etc.
