Today\u00a0a friend\u00a0asked me, “Why do you think conservation is important?”\u00a0I said\u00a0it seemed\u00a0like not too many people around me\u00a0really think about conservation or the environment,\u00a0but I felt it to be a simple responsibility loaded with brilliant\u00a0discovery.\u00a0We are\u00a0members of\u00a0this tremendous\u00a0biological community that\u00a0is shared with\u00a0millions of other\u00a0species, and\u00a0at some point I realized I had\u00a0this responsibility as a participant in this community and I wanted to be active.\u00a0I’ve always\u00a0wanted to understand\u00a0the effects and impacts of human development including my own, and wondered if there was some way I could make it better, so that we can live harmoniously with the wildlife around us. Working with Birds Korea in the\u00a0ROK gives me the inspiration and direction\u00a0to do so.\u00a0I hope you too find inspiration and\u00a0join us on this great adventure.
