A leisurely walk along the southern bank and sometimes on the dried out parts of the lake revealed plenty of <strong>Great<\/strong> (~20), <strong>Intermediate<\/strong> (2) and <strong>Little<\/strong> (~12) <strong>Egrets<\/strong>. Other birds of note included <strong>Great<\/strong> <strong>Cormorants<\/strong> (~5), <strong>Little Ringed Plovers<\/strong> (4), a pair of <strong>Mandarin Ducks<\/strong>, a <strong>Black Crowned Night Heron<\/strong>, <strong>Grey Heron<\/strong> (~10), a <strong>Mongolian Gull, <\/strong>a <strong>Common Kingfisher<\/strong> and a<strong> Common Kestrel<\/strong>.
