A quick check, and it seems that our blog is ranked number 25 &#8211;\u00a0 and number 2 among hundreds of bird blogs based outside of the UK and North America.<\/p>\n<p>It is very encouraging that we are still getting heard &#8211; even though it feels like we have been speaking in more of a whisper than a roar these past few years.<\/p>\n<p>So a big thank you to all who have contributed images and posts, and of course to everyone who follows and supports Birds Korea.<\/p>\n<p>Below are just two of the many reasons why we do this work&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-19271 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.birdskoreablog.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/part2_fig10-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"BUSAN, Korea\" width=\"690\" height=\"460\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.birdskoreablog.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/part2_fig10-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.birdskoreablog.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/part2_fig10-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.birdskoreablog.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/part2_fig10-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.birdskoreablog.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/part2_fig10-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.birdskoreablog.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/part2_fig10.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/>Research on and advocacy for &#8220;spoonies&#8221; and their tidal-flat habitat: Juvenile <strong>Spoon-billed Sandpiper<\/strong> at the Nakdong Estuary \u00a9 Jan van de Kam for Birds Korea.
