October 24, Gyeyangsan<\/p>\n

A return to our new favorite in-shore migrant spot yielded relatively few migrants, despite several hours of early morning rain (ending just before our arrival) and a change to northwesterlies and cool and clear. Highlights were: a few Yellow-browed Warblers, an Olive-backed Pipit, an unseen Bull-headed Shrike, a few Tristram\u2019s, Yellow-throated and Black-faced Buntings, several Daurian Redstarts, Marsh, Great, and Long-tailed Tits, the resident band of Azure-winged Magpies (never a wasted trip when you have Azure-winged Magpies!); and, for the very light raptor passage, one or two each of Eastern Buzzard, Eurasian Sparrowhawk, Peregrine Falcon, Japanese Sparrowhawk, and Kestrel.<\/p>\n
