Bird News from Andreas Kim<\/strong><\/p>\n

The afternoon visit to the Usop Swamp showed more birds than it was hoped for: a big flock of c. 2000 geese,\u00a0Taiga Bean<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Greater White-fronted<\/b>, c. 100\u00a0Whooper Swan<\/b>, at least 50\u00a0Mallard<\/b>\u00a0small groups of\u00a0Eurasian Teal<\/b>\u00a0all around the swamp, several\u00a0Eurasian Coot<\/b>, 3\u00a0Grey Heron<\/b>, one\u00a0Western Great Egret<\/b>\u00a0and 3\u00a0Eastern Great Egret<\/b>. Also seen were 5 to 6\u00a0Bull-headed Shrike<\/b>, a flock of\u00a0Vinous-throated Parrotbill<\/b>, a flock of\u00a0Eurasian Tree Sparrow<\/b>, several\u00a0Oriental Turtle Dove<\/b>, an overflying\u00a0Eastern Buzzard<\/b>\u00a0and a\u00a0Common Kestrel<\/b>\u00a0on a nearby pole.<\/p>\n
