It was hard to believe my eyes- I&#8217;m used to seeing this cheerful sight only in western Europe. Also here, the clockwork sound of\u00a0<b>Azure-winged Magpies<\/b>\u00a0winding down in the willow trees.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/p>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"European Robin\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/birdskorea.org\/Images\/images2014\/01\/European-Robin_TE.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div><b>European Robin<\/b>\u00a0<i>Erithacus rubecula<\/i>, \u00a9 Tim Edelsten<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/center>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Later at the Jungnang Stream, where 4600\u00a0<b>Tufted Duck\u00a0<\/b>and 126\u00a0<b>Mandarin Duck<\/b>, two odd-looking\u00a0<i>aythya<\/i>. One basically resembling\u00a0<b>Baer&#8217;s Pochard\u00a0<\/b>but with cinnamon tints on the head. Yesterday an apparently different individual, which looked more pure-blooded (in the pictures at least) was photographed here.
