Bird News from Andreas Kim<\/strong><\/p>\n

A morning visit to the site with very sunny weather conditions showed 3 Black-tailed Godwit<\/strong>, c. 40 Common Greenshank<\/strong>, 1 Grey Plover<\/strong>, 2 Terek Sandpiper<\/strong>, 10+ Common Sandpiper<\/strong>, 4 Long-billed Plover<\/strong> and as a rare visitor one Black-winged Stilt. Most Grey Heron<\/strong>, Great Egret<\/strong> and Little Egret<\/strong> roosted on boats or platforms, all in all about 30 in total. Black-tailed Gulls<\/strong> were not more than 20, the same number for the first Eurasian Teal<\/strong> at the site and also seen one Mallard in eclipse plumage. Also seen 2 Grey Wagtails<\/strong>, several White Wagtail<\/strong> flying, one Grey-headed Woodpecker<\/strong>, 2 Eastern Great Tit<\/strong>, only heard Brown-eared Bulbul<\/strong> and Eurasian Magpie<\/strong>. Everywhere plenty of dragonflies with some ending as food.<\/p>\n
