{"id":10170,"date":"2013-09-22T21:02:46","date_gmt":"2013-09-22T12:02:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.birdskoreablog.org\/?p=10170"},"modified":"2014-05-28T23:07:50","modified_gmt":"2014-05-28T14:07:50","slug":"eulsukdo-eco-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.birdskoreablog.org\/?p=10170","title":{"rendered":"Eulsukdo Eco-workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Written by Kim Minjung<\/strong><br \/>\nTheresa Girls&#8217; High School of Busan<\/p>\n<p>I went to Eulsukdo with my teacher and friends.<br \/>\nWe discussed about &#8220;If we were shorebirds, what would we do?&#8221;, &#8220;What can we do for migratory birds?&#8221; and &#8220;natural connection.&#8221; Dr. Nial Moores showed us pictures of <strong>Spoon-billed Sandpiper<\/strong>. It was very funny that the Spoon-billed Sandpiper&#8217;s bill looks like a duck&#8217;s foot.<\/p>\n<p>After having lunch, we went outside to look for birds. We could watch a few birds such as <strong>Black-winged Stilt<\/strong>, <strong>Little Grebe<\/strong>, <strong>Black-headed gull<\/strong>, <strong>Common Kingfisher<\/strong>, and <strong>Grey Heron<\/strong>. I was excited because it was the first time that I could watch real birds closely. But I&#8217;m so sad after conversation with Dr. Nial Moores. He said birds of many species are endangered because of human pollution. So I decide to save the environment.
