Han River, February 6

Bird News from Nial Moores and Russell Graham

Highlights at a couple of stops on the Han River today included a superb adult Steller’s Sea Eagle, spectacularly fighting off 4 or 5 White-tailed Eagles from a stolen waterbird carcass; three or four Scaly-sided Merganser; the Swan Goose still; presumably two Northern Goshawk; and rarest of all in the Korean context, three Mute Swan.
