How can we all help to conserve Avian Biodiversity?

Public Seminar, Nakdong Estuary, Saturday 27th September

Next month, the Republic of Korea will host the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) conference in Gangwon Province.

As part of preparation for this conference, and with the generous support of K-Water, Birds Korea will conduct an education program in the Nakdong Estuary on Saturday 27th September. The program includes a public seminar (10:30-12:30) and an educational birdwatching walk at the Nakdong Estuary (between 13:30 and 15:00).

During the seminar, Dr. Nial Moores will introduce the latest Birds Korea report, detailing changes in bird populations and in habitats; and Mr. Jason Loghry and Ms. Sunny Yun will introduce education programs and lifestyle choices that are aimed at improving our lives while reducing our collective impact on biodiversity and the planet.

Attendance is open to all.  Details of the meeting place and other logistics will be sent once confirmation of attendance has been made by mail, no later please than midday, Friday the 26th.
