This also includes a closer look at the identification of two species of redpoll that occur in Mongolia: “the common Mealy Redpoll, formerly called Common Redpoll, Carduelis flammea, and the rarer Arctic Redpoll Carduelis hornemanni, with subspecies C. h. exilipes (sometimes called Coues’s Redpoll).”
